ABOUT NIELIT
National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT),(erstwhile DOEACC Society), an Autonomous Scientific Society under the administrative control of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MoE&IT), Government of India, was set up to carry out Human Resource Development and related activities in the area of Information, Electronics & Communications Technology (IECT). NIELIT is engaged both in Formal & Non-Formal Education in the area of IECT besides development of industry oriented quality education and training programmes in the state-of-the-art areas. NIELIT has endeavoured to establish standards to be the country’s premier institution for Examination and Certification in the field of IECT. It is also one of the National Examination Body, which accredits institutes/organizations for conducting courses in IT in the non-formal sector.
ABOUT UPDESCO
UPDESCO is a premier Public Sector Undertaking of Government of Uttar Pradesh (GoUP). It was set-up in March, 1977 under the administrative control of Planning Department. In 1999, it was brought under the Department of Information Technology & Electronics (IT&E), GoUP.
UPDESCO provides system’s back-up to Government and Non-Government Organizations (NGOs).Information Technology (IT) and IT enabled Services (ITeS) are the core strength of this Public Sector Undertaking (PSU). UPDESCO is a State Nodal Agency for providing services related to IT and ITeS. Its domain ranges from procurement and supply of Computer Hardware, Software, Training, Consultancy and Human Resources to erection and commissioning of Solar Systems, Smart City, etc.
ABOUT NCPUL
The National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education, Government of India. It has been set up to promote, develop and propagate Urdu language. Council started its operation in Delhi on April 1, 1996. In its capacity as the National Nodal Agency for the promotion of the Urdu language NCPUL is the principal coordinating and monitoring authority for promotion of Urdu language and Urdu education.
MoU Between NIELIT, Chandigarh and NCPUL
NIELIT has signed an MoU with NCPUL for execution of a program to recruit & develop faculty to impart training to the students of NCPUL centers and assess them for one year diploma course – “Diploma in Computer Applications, Business Accounting and Multilingual DTP (CABA-MDTP)”. This program is jointly being executed by NCPUL and National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Chandigarh since 2004.
